Can't Wait to do Yoga on the Beach!

This is definitely my time of year. I am sorry to say, I can't handle the lack of sun the Winter brings, but thanks to my sunsplash machine that delivers vitamin D through my skin, I made it through this tough winter without too much trouble.

Soon, the weather will be nice enough to walk the beach in the early morning. Then after that, the summer will roll in with more and more light to enjoy outdoor activity.

This year, I hope many people join me in sunrise yoga at Roosevelt Beach. There is nothing better than starting your day facing the morning sun with salt air kissing your face. Come to think of it, I don't think there is any form of exercise that can bring you closer to nature than yoga, but I am sooooo prejudiced! Please blog me your idea of the perfect workout. Everyone needs a head start in Spring to get going. We want all the ideas we can get! D.

Not according to Webster's dictionary. If that were the case, Angels would be considered stalkers. :)

Sometimes, negativity gets to me. I see so much that hurts like children suffering from nasty divorce, mental illness, alcoholism, married couples cheating on one another, severe and chronic disease, death, people doing horrible unlawful things and ruining families...it gets so bad, I can't take it. When I roll over at night, I have no one to tell my woes to so I pray that tomorrow I will know what to do, what to say, how to act in order to help those that need it.

To Anonymous 1 and Anonymous 2, I want you to remember that I am exposed, out there, 24/7, and feeling it all. The two of you can hide under the guise of your aliases, but I have no where to hide. When people sling the stuff at me for whatever reason, I actually take it pretty well and most often try to learn from it. I also try to give something back to the hurler that might help them through their own stuff.

I have a saying, "He who hurts me knows not what he is doing to me, but instead only knows one way to deal with his own pain."

The words people use, the hurtful remarks, the inuendos, are all easy. It is the real stuff, the whole list I just rattled off that gets to me. It is the thought that I might not be able to be effective enough to help all those in need. That my voice will carry through government laws and bureauracracy so we can make drastic changes to healthcare and food issues. That my tired body will have the energy to take on the future challenges.

No one remark can damage a soul, nor can mountains of negative energy do so, but the body can't go on forever. Somehow, some way we have to rejuvenate. I had always thought this site would be for that purpose, not to hurt one another.

What do you think? Can we all agree that that there is a far greater purpose for our blog? Can we choose to believe that positive can conquer negative? D.

i would not have approved the stalker comment to begin with, unless you felt some relevance. And I choose to be anonymous not to hide. Hiding is not responding.

I try to keep this an open forum so unless there is some kind of salacious comment, I approve all of them. Most especially, I wanted to show the writer of the "stalker" comment that they could change their perspective from "watching me" to "watching over me".

So you know, remaining anonymous is hiding. Not to judge you for it. I am sure there is good reason. Still, I am at a disadvantage. When people remain anonymous, they tend to say more than they would if they named themselves because there is no repercussion.

If you come on to this site, it means you want help, you want to learn, you want to keep in touch, or it may mean you want to give me a run for it. So I will take you on if you like, but email me at donna@donnamartini.com so we can figure out which one. D.
